A gorgeous place to stay in the Cotswolds with 4 fantastic pubs within 10 minutes walk. The Bull pub in the village recently won "National Pub of the Year"! There are a huge number of stunning country walks direct from the front door. It's a large, spacious 4 bedroom detached house with private garden. Wheelchair friendly with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the ground floor. 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the 1st floor. Private parking on the drive for several cars.

Welcome to our Scandinavian-designed eco house in the heart of the Cotswolds. Built with triple insulation, solar panels, air filtration and underfloor heating. The house has high-speed 360 Mbps WiFi, making it perfect for both remote work and relaxing getaways. Accessible: Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are located on the ground floor, including one with a walk-in shower — ideal for guests with limited mobility or wheelchair users. The wide hallway, step-free access, and smooth flooring make moving around easy. Air Conditioning: We have a portable air-conditioning unit in the house that can be used in any of the bedrooms. We can also arrange for additional portable air conditioner units to be delivered for the duration of your stay for an extra charge. Family & Pet Friendly: The garden is fully enclosed — safe for both dogs and children. Location: Charlbury train station – 8-minute walk (direct trains to London in 1hr 10min) Soho Farmhouse – 14-minute drive Blenheim Palace – 15-minute drive The Bull & The Bell pubs – 3-minute walk Sustainability: We’ve put sustainability at the heart of the house: Low-VOC, eco-friendly paint throughout, upcycled and handmade furniture, local gallery artwork, sustainable toiletries. House Rules Stag or hen groups are only permitted with prior written approval. No parties or large gatherings. Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited. Pets are only allowed with advance permission. Please do not let them on the furniture and pleasure clean up their mess before you leave. No candles, incense, or open flames of any kind. Only registered guests may stay overnight. Food and drinks must not be consumed in the bedrooms. Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm. Check-in and check-out times must be respected. Please look after your keys. Lost keys will incur a £70 replacement charge. Treat all furnishings with care; damage beyond the security deposit will be charged. Furniture must remain in its original position. Wash up any dishes used during your stay. Dispose of all rubbish before departure. Fire Safety This property is fitted with a fire detection system for your protection. In the event of a fire, you are responsible for ensuring you can exit safely. To help keep everyone safe: Report any faults with the fire alarm system to your host immediately. Keep hallways, staircases, steps, and landing areas clear of obstructions and flammable materials. Close all doors leading onto hallways, stairs, or landings before going to bed. Switch off electrical appliances at night. Do not bring any portable heaters, especially those with open flames (gas or paraffin) or exposed heating elements (electric bar fires), into the property. Do not store items in cupboards containing gas or electricity meters. Never tamper with any smoke or heat alarms in the property. Do not wedge or prop doors open.

Neighbourbood description: Charlbury has lots of local amenities including a Co-op and Post Office which is open until 11 pm every day and has a cash machine. There are 4 pubs in the town and lots of fantastic pubs in the immediate countryside. Getting around: Charlbury is on the main train line from London Paddington. There are trains every hour. We are also opposite the bus stop directly from Oxford (s3) and there are local buses to Chipping Norton and to Witney. Charlbury is 1.5 hrs from London by car and 1 hr 10 mins from Birmingham. We are set in square just 7 miles from Witney, Chipping Norton, Woodstock and Burford. Lots of parking, easy for driving.
